Fans have jokes that Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk showed the ultimate lack of respect to a Tottenham star during the Carabao Cup semi-final collision between the two sides.

The Brazilian, who was on the peat, looked up at Van Dijk briefly before he saw that the Dutchman offered his hand to help him.

Richarlison took the opportunity, but Van Dijk pulled his hand away on the last second and ran away in the other direction, leaving the Spurs something confusing.
