Death by daylight devs explain how bots are used in 2V8

Summary

  • Death through the next 2V8 event from Daylight will use Bots to stimulate the numbers of the survivors.

  • However, the developers say that this will not be the standard setting, and the bots will only be used when the murder watch times are too long.

  • The event runs from 10 to 25 February.

2V8 returns to death in daylight, with an event with a resident malignant theme that starts on 10 February. However, there will be some changes this time, because the developers want to keep the queue times for murderers.

In an interview, senior designer Jean Escalante said in an interview that the developers would place a maximum of two bots in a lobby, so murderers are not waiting for a team of survivors. Some feared that this would mean each 2V8 Match would have a few bots, so that the developers can be clarified exactly how this will work.

On social media, the Dead by Daylight -Team fans will say that competitions will only “occasionally” add to two surviving bots. Furthermore, it is stated that this will not happen automatically and will only be appropriate if they are needed to prevent a long waiting time.

Death by daylight will use bots in 2V8 matches

The bots are only used when needed, and there will only be one or two

“To alleviate long murderous queues for this iteration of 2V8, we [will] Occasionally add to 2 surviving bots to lobbies they need, “reads the message on social media.” The bots are not automatically added to all lobbies, but previously used in situations where they may be needed to shorten the waiting time all players. “

The game should therefore not be standard for two human murderers, six human survivors and two bone survivors. However, if there are not enough human survivors to go around, it seems that death in daylight can rely quite often on the bots. We will just have to wait and see how everything is working when the event goes live.

The event starts next Monday and runs until 25 February and lasts approximately two weeks.
